Academy Council conveys and learns the guiding principles of Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions

  The academy council convened the 13th meeting in 2023 of the academy council on Oct. 23. The Managing Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming presided over the meeting. The Vice President of CELAJ and first-Class Counsel Kuang Sheng, the Vice President of CELAJ Ke Hua, the Vice President of CELAJ and first-Class Counsel Wang Jianxin, member of the academy council Cheng Jisheng, and member of the academy council Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting. The directors of the departments of the academy were present.
  The meeting conveyed and learned the important speech delivered by Xi Jinping at a symposium on advancing the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB), and the guiding principles of his instructions during his inspection tour in Jiangxi province ; Regulation on the education and training of cadres, the Plan on the education and training of cadres for the 2023-2027 period; and the guiding principles of Li Ganjie's speech delivered at the symposium on national cadre training and national civil servant work.
  It was highlighted at the meeting that the academy should conscientiously study the guiding principles of Xi Jinping’s important speeches, fully implement the guiding principles of the new development philosophy, strive to promote Jinggangshan Spirit, make full use of the case of applying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in the old revolutionary base areas to educate party members to deepen commitment to the ideals and convictions of the Party.
  It was stressed at the meeting that the academy should take the Regulation as the basic guides to cadre training at the new era, and the Plan as the guides to action. It is imperative to carry out political training in a more solid manner. The meeting calls for more accurate and effective training to enhance the cadres' capability to perform their duties, adding that both their professional knowledge and comprehensive quality should be improved. It also demands a more scientific and sound training system, more up-to-date and systematic training content, and more targeted and effective training methods.
