The academy council held a meeting to learn the guiding principles of Chen Xi’s speech delivered at the opening ceremony of 2023 autumn semester on Sept. 1. The meeting was presided over by Deputy secretary of CPC Committee of Jiangxi Province and first vice president of CELAJ Wu Zhongqiong. The Managing Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming, the Vice President of CELAJ Kuang Sheng, the Vice President of CELAJ Ke Hua, the Vice President of CELAJ and first-Class Counsel Wang Jianxin, member of the academy council Cheng Jisheng, and member of the academy council Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting. The directors of the departments of the academy were present.

Chen Xi’ speech stresses profoundly the great significance, rich implications, and practical requirement of Party building thought of Xi Jinping. It is an outstanding party lecture with vivid theme and deep thought, Wu Zhongqiong said. As a state-level cadre training institution, we must uphold studying, publicizing, and implementing the innovative theory as our primary task; use every feasible means to enhance teaching quality; strive to improve scientific research capability; and devote great effort to cultivate high-caliber staff members with absolute loyalty, steely determination, and fine conduct.

Chen Xi's speech deepens our understanding of Party building of General Secretary Xi Jinping. It is of great guiding significance to the high-quality development of the academy, Mei Liming said. We will uphold Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as our central training content, and take solid action in making the thought into textbooks, into class, and into brain.

The meeting called for taking in-depth study of the party building thought of Xi Jinping, and applying it into every part of the academy work to prompt the high-quality development to a new level.

The participants of the training seminars and party branches of the academy were also organized to learn the speech.
