As required and deployed by CPC Central Committee and Jiangxi provincial Party Committee, CELAJ leading bodies held a meeting to conduct criticisms and self-criticisms on the education campaign on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Mei Liming, the Managing Vice President of CELAJ presided over the meeting and made a conclusion speech. Wang Hui, the director of 9th inspection team on education campaign of Jiangxi provincial party committee, attended the meeting and made comments on the academy’s education campaign work. The Vice President of CELAJ Kuang Sheng, the Vice President of CELAJ Ke Hua, the Vice President of CELAJ and first Class Counsel Wang Jianxin, member of the academy council Cheng Jisheng, and member of the academy counicl Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting.

The leading bodies attached great weight to the meeting. Full preparation was made prior to the meeting. The designated books were studied and discussed. Members of the leading bodies had a heart-to-heart talk with each other, comprehensively found out problems by analyzing typical cases. Mei Liming drew up self-criticism material of the leading bodies, and the members of the leading bodies wrote self-criticism material on themselves. All these preparations laid a solid foundation for the success of the meeting. The 9th inspection team examined and verified the criticism material, and talked with all the members one by one, and gave fine directions to the meeting. 

The rectification and application on the criticism and self-criticism meeting in 2022 were reported at the meeting. On behalf of the leading bodies, Mei Liming found out the prominent problems of the leading bodies, analyzed the root causes, and gave improvement measures regarding theoretical learning, political caliber, capabilities, responsibilities, conduct, and discipline, especially General Secretary of CPCCC Xi Jinping’s important remarks on the targets of the education campaign. The members of the leading bodies made self-criticism respectively and conduct criticisms on the others. The criticism and self-criticism were conducted based on full democracy, with themselves put in, with the responsibilities put in, with the work put in, and based on facts and realties.

The meeting was fully prepared, the criticisms and self-criticisms candid, serious and solid, and the rectification and measures clear and practical. It is a serious, democratic, and effective meeting, Wang Hui commented. The leading bodies should take the meeting as a new start, and great impetus for meeting challenges and our undertakings, uphold the theoretical theory of the party; maintaining shouldering responsibilities, and provide momentum for the high-quality development.

The meeting is a new start of reforming our subjective world, and enhancing our capabilities, Mei said at his conclusion speech. The leading bodies should firmly uphold Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership, strengthening our consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership, enhancing our confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics,  and resolutely upholding Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and upholding the Central Committee’ authority and its centralized, unified leadership. To the new journey in the new era, the academy shoulders a glorious task and responsibility, and we should fully implement the guiding principles of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, endeavor to write an extraordinary chapter on fostering talent for and contributing wisdom to the Party.
