The academy council conveyed and learned the guiding principles of Xi Jinping’s important speeches delivered at the six and seventh group study session of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and during his inspection visit in Sichuan province. The Managing Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming presided over the meeting. The Vice President of CELAJ Kuang Sheng, the Vice President of CELAJ Ke Hua, the Vice President of CELAJ and first Class Counsel Wang Jianxin, member of the academy council and director of International Exchange and program developing department Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting. The directors of the departments of the academy were present.

It was agreed at the meeting that Xi Jinping’s speech at the 6th group study session, further pointed out the direction, method of theoretical exploration, and set a basic guidance for further progress in theoretical exploration of the party, and more fruitful theoretical achievement in the new era. Xi Jinping’s speech at the 7th group study session, expounded the significance of enhancing the governance of the army, and set clear target and deployment of high-quality development of the army. Xi Jinping’s speech at Sichuan inspection tour required that the education campaign should finish with a good ending as it started with a good beginning, and stressed 4 standards of testing the education campaign results, and clearly deployed the key tasks and measures of  the on-going education campaign.

The meeting called for further study in the depth and scope of research on the innovative Party theory from the aspects of timely background, scientific system, spirit essence, practical requirement, and originality contribution, and use simple words to make the explanation convincing; have a good grasp of the newly deployment of education campaign, continue advancing the education campaign, and ensue the education campaign meet the requirement of the CPCCC and achieve satisfactory result.
