On June 19, CELAJ Council conveys the spirit of learning Xi Jinping’s important instructions on cultural inheritance and development, and investigation to Inner Mongolia. The meeting was presided over by Mei Liming, executive vice president of CELAJ. Vice presidents of CELAJ Kuang Sheng, Ke Hua and Wang Jianxin, members of academy council Cheng Jisheng and Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting. The directors of academy’s departments were present. 

Participants agreed that President Xi Jinping’s important speech on cultural inheritance and development made a comprehensive, systematic and in-depth explanation of a series of major theoretical and practical issues regarding the inheritance and development of Chinese culture from the perspective of the overall strategic development of the Party and country. His speech was of political, ideological, strategic and guiding significance.

Participants said that they would deeply understand the theoretical and practical significance of “two combinations”, understand the continuity, innovation, unity, inclusiveness and peace of the Chinese civilization, better shoulder the cultural mission in the new era, vigorously inherit the red cultural gene, and continue to deepen the research, publicity and interpretation of Jinggangshan spirit, Soviet spirit and the Long March spirit. We should base ourselves on serving the overall situation of the country, fully, accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept.
