The theoretical learning center group of CELAJ council held the 2nd group study session in 2023 on May 11. The study session was presided over by the Executive Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming. Chen Peng, deputy leader of the ninth itinerant guidance group of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee on theoretical study program, attended and guided the session. The directors and deputy directors of CELAJ departments were present. 

During the study session, Mei Liming made a key-note speech on further advancing study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, all the other members of the learning center group exchanged views. 

Participants said that Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is the ideological weapon and action guide for our Party to win the victory in the new era and the new journey. Xi Jinping’s important speeches are the vivid Party lessons that guide us to learn the Party’s innovative theory, which point the way forward for academy to better achieve “educating and offering suggestions for the Party”.

Participants pointed out that it is necessary to deeply understand the importance of carrying out theoretical study program on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era for academy to adhere to the original aspiration and founding mission. During this theoretical study program, we must gain a good command of the requirements of the Party’s new theories for maintaining firm ideals and convictions, raising ideological level and enhancing Party consciousness. We should transform the Thought’s worldview and methodology as well as the stances, viewpoints and methods running through it into our own ideological tool, internalizing them in our hearts and manifesting them in our actions. 

We should conduct inspections and researches, be more conscious of problems so as to get a clear picture of the situation, pinpoint the problems, put forth right solutions. We should conduct inspections and examinations and rectifying misdeeds detected. We should pay attention to the transformation and application of research results, and effectively promote the development of education, training, research and consulting, the efficient development of administrative and logistics services, so as to promote academy’s high-quality development.
