The meeting on opening the research subject of solving problems impeding high-quality development of China Executive Leadership Academy, Pudong (CELAP), China Executive Leadership Academy, Jinggangshan (CELAJ), and China Executive Leadership Academy, Yan’an (CELAY) was held at CELAJ on May 6. The Managing Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming gave a welcome speech. The Vice President of CELAJ, and First-Class Counsel Wang Jianxin presided over the meeting. The division Chief of the Fifth Division, Cadre education Bureau, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, and First-Class Consultant Geng Hongtao attended the meeting and gave instructive opinions on the research subject. The Vice President of CELAY Han Donghui, the member of the academy council of CELAJ Cheng Jisheng, director of the department of Teaching Affair of CELAP He Lisheng respectively introduced the preparations and plans for the parts they are responsible for. Members of the research team of the three academies attended the meeting.

Mei Liming express heartfelt thanks to the instruction of Cadre Training Bureau, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, and extended welcome to the members of the research team, in his welcome speech. The research was conducted at the right time, and it would facilitate the high-quality development of the three academies on teaching and research, team building, administration, and logistics, he said. We would take the research as a major measure in the on-going education campaign of the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Under the instruction of the Cadre Training Bureau, we would conduct surveys to find out the problems impeding the high-quality development of the academies, as well as methods and measures to these problems. The opening of the research subject had made a good start for the high-quality development.

The research was a most powerful beginning of implementing the guiding principles of General Secretary of CPCCC, Xi Jinping’s remarks while addressing the meeting marking the 90th anniversary of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and the opening ceremony of its 2023 spring semester, and the most powerful response to comprehensively implement the requirement of high-quality development of the three academies set by the leader of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, Wang concluded. We will apply the principles of the meeting in our research promptly and see that the research finishes with high-quality.
