Chen Xi, president of the Party School of the Communist Party of China Central Committee (National Academy of Governance), CELAP, CELAJ and CELAY, attended the opening ceremony of 2023 spring semester on the morning of May 15. 

Chen Xi stressed that the worldview and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era embodying the Party’s major achievements in promoting theoretical innovation, are shining examples of adhering to dialectical materialism and historical materialism, and are powerful ideological weapons to guide the development of the Party and the country in the new era. It is necessary to transform learning results into practical actions, achieve unity in thinking, solve prominent problems within the Party, always maintain close times with the people, and advance the cause of the Party and the county. 

Chen xi pointed out that the fundamental task of this theoretical study program is to apply what we have learned in practice, act on our beliefs and turn Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into a powerful force for strengthening ideals, enhancing Party consciousness, guiding practice, and advancing our work.
