The Vice President of CELAJ Kuang Sheng convened and presided over a meeting on creating quality courses on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era on the evening of Jun. 7. Relevant teachers and representatives from the Department of Teaching Affairs, Training Department, International Exchange and Program Development Department participated in the meeting.

The teachers respectively introduced the course development and challenges they faced. The other participants gave their opinions and suggestions on creating quality courses.

The meeting is a research meeting as well as a work promotion meeting, Kuang Sheng said after hearing the participants’ opinions and advice. Making every effort to create quality courses on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is full implementation of the important instruction and requirement on cadre training work made by General Secretary Xi Jinpin and CPCCC, and an important measure to further advance the high-quality development of the academy. The teachers should revolve around theoretical exploration in the 20th National Congress of CPC, uphold integrating red gene and the spirits of the times, carry forward the advantageous features, and make full use of Jinggangshan and surrounding red culture resources；keep making the quality course to perfection from subjects, content and showing form, and use plain words to illustrate the latest theoretical achievements based on scientific, reasonable, open-minded, full and substantial theoretical research; seize time to develop quality courses and strive to make them into classroom teaching as early as possible.
