CELAJ resident work teams of poverty relief conducts a series of activities before the spring festival
On Jan. 16, the resident work teams of CELAJ on poverty relief conducted a series of activities at the designated village, Wangjia village.
In the morning, the work team held a ceremony to dispense the student grant, altogether 30,000 yuan to the 22 college students who were the natives of the village, passed the college entrance examination and were enrolled by colleges in 2022, encouraging the students to achieve academic success, and make contribution for the rural revitalization and common prosperity for everyone of Wangjia village. The work team, together with the deputies of well-known enterprises, also paid a visit to the families with financial difficulties, teachers of the teaching spot of the primary school, and gave assistance materials to them.
In the afternoon, the work team held a seminar to review the poverty relief work in 2022, solicit advice from the villagers and jointly made plans for the work in 2023.
