On Feb. 17, the academy council conveyed and learned the guiding principles in General Secretary of CPCCC Xi Jinping’s important speeches at the annual Central Economic Work Conference, the 2nd plenary sessions of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the 1st and 2nd group study sessions of the 20th Political Bureau of the Central Committee, and the important article entitled Striving in Unity to Realize the Targets Set in the 20th National Congress of CPC. Mei Liming, the Executive Vice President of CELAJ, presided over the meeting. The vice president of CELAJ Ke Hua, the Vice President of CELAJ and First-Class Counsel Wang Jianxin, member of the academy council Cheng Jisheng, and member of the academy council Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting. The directors of the departments of the academy were present.

It was agreed at the meeting that, the important speech at the Central Economic Work Conference reviewed comprehensively the country's economic work in 2022, analyzed the current economic situation and arranged next year's economic work, setting the fundamental guidance for the economic work for next phase; the important speech at the 2nd plenary sessions of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, deeply analyzed the root of particular problem of big party, manifestation and solution, profoundly illustrated the aim, and the practical requirement of building the system of strengthening Party self-governance in every respect, setting strategical deployment for remaining committed to strengthening Party self-governance in every respect; the important speech and article at the 1st group study session of the 20th Political Bureau of the Central Committee, made systematic arrangement and set vivid requirement for learning and implementing the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of CPC, setting path, instruction and guidance for us to learn and implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of CPC; the important speech at the 2nd group study session of the 20th National Congress of CPC, profoundly illustrated the practical and profound historic significance, and comprehensive arrangement of accelerating efforts to building the new development paradigm.

It was urged at the meeting to conscientiously study the guiding principles in Xi Jinping’s important speeches and articles, and lean, implement and publicize the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of CPC; maintain alert and conscious of solving the particular problems of big parities, remain committed to strengthening Party self-governance in every respect, cultivate fine atmosphere featuring honesty and integrity; make solid preparation for the new semester and make a good start for the new year.
