Evaluated by the evaluation panel of the National Social Science Fund of China and approved by National Office for philosophy and social sciences, one research project submitted by CELAJ was established as General program of the National Social Science Foundation of China, and one as Western Project of National Social Science Foundation of China recently. Approved by National Red Gene Inheritance Research Center, one research project of CELAJ was established as key project of the research center in 2022. Evaluated by the evaluation panel of Jiangxi Social Science Fund of 14th Five-year Plan Discipline, and approved by the Party committee of the Association of Jiangxi Social Science Circle, two research projects submitted by CELAJ were established as general program, and one as program for the youth.

The research projects of the academy focused on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, closely integrate the function of the academy and the history of Jianggangshan revolution, the history of the Central Soviet Area, Long March, explored and inherit the red gene. Making full use of the advantage of teamwork, the academy has achieved outstanding academic results in recent years. CELAJ has altogether 33 national social science fund research projects established, and 51 Jiangxi provincial social science fund research projects established since the foundation of the academy.
