The academy council holds a group study session
The academy council held the first group study session in 2024 on Mar. 28 to study Party building and self-reform deployment in the new journey in the new era by Xi Jinping. The Vice President of CELAJ Ke Hua made a key-note speech. The member of the academy council also spoked at the meeting. The directors of the departments of the academy shared their thoughts at the meeting.
The study session focused on an important article by Xi Jinping on CPC self-reform published in this year's sixth issue of the Qiushi Journal, a flagship magazine of the CPC Central Committee, and the guiding principles of Xi Jinping’s speech delivered at the third plenary session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, and two party regulations: one on party history learning and education, and the other on party discipline.
It was unanimously agreed that the self-reform theory developed by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, is an important theoretical exploration on upholding adapting the basic tenets of Marxism-Leninism to China’s specific realities, and adapting the basic tenets of Marxism-Leninism to China’s fine traditional culture. It makes innovative contribution to the Marxist party building. It shows great practical power in the management of the Party, and guides the Centenary major party to reform themselves to a new level. It successfully solves the problems of self-oversight of the ruling party, and contributes Chinese approach and wisdom to the parties around the world.
The participants noted that they would take studying and implementing the self-reform thought as a major political task, and use this thought to arm their brain, and guide their practice; they would transform this thought into teaching design, teaching set up, courses development, and prompt the Party's new theory into textbooks, into classroom, into brain; upholding strict management of the academy; and take advantage of the upcoming self-reform education campaign to strengthen the education of political discipline and rules, party conduct building, and lead the strict management of the academy with self-reform.
