On March 19, CELAJ council held the 5th meeting of 2024 to convey and study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions. Vice President Ke Hua presided over, Vice President and First-level Inspector Wang Jianxin, and Academy members Cheng Jisheng and Xiao Huaxiao attended.
The meeting held that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the 12th collective study of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee systematically summarized the development of China’s new energy system and the challenges it faces, and pointed out the development direction, which is highly political, leading and guiding; General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during the national "two sessions" deeply grasped the current domestic and foreign situation, pointing out the way forward and injecting strong impetus into doing a good job in various tasks and promoting the Chinese path to modernization.
The meeting demanded that we should conscientiously study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and important instructions, faithfully perform our duties around the overall situation of the Party and the country, focus on promoting the Chinese path to modernization, the central task of the Party, and vigorously give full play to the unique value of cultivating talents for the Party and offering advice for the Party; we should strengthen ideological and political guidance, educate and guide young cadres to further strengthen their ideals and beliefs, enhance organizational concepts, strictly observe political discipline and political rules, and continuously improve political judgment, political comprehension, and political execution; we should improve the normalization working mechanism for cultivating and selecting outstanding young cadres, encourage cadres to take on responsibilities, and truly select and use outstanding young cadres.
