On March 1st, Chen Yongqi, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee and First Vice President of CELAJ, attended the opening ceremony of the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance) 2025 Spring Semester at the Academy. He also chaired a meeting of the Academy's Administrative Committee and conducted research on the academy.

He emphasized the need to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on party school work, highlighting the importance of political attributes and strengthening political capacity building. Efforts should be made to continuously improve the quality and level of education of the Academy from a new starting point, making a greater contribution to the development of the party school cause and the education and training of cadres in the new era.

Chen Yongqi visited the Academy’s exhibition room, business center, and Apartment Building 1, where he observed the institution's infrastructure and listened to related reports. He stressed that CELAJ is a political institution and a political school, and it must take the lead in political matters, setting an example for others. It is crucial to ensure that the Academy’s work always advances in the right direction. The Academy must adhere to the principle that party schools belong to the Party, uphold the Party's flag, and fulfill its duties and responsibilities. This includes strictly overseeing the teaching of courses and the compilation of textbooks, guarding political boundaries, and taking concrete actions to firmly defend the “Two Establishes” and resolutely achieve the upholding the authority and centralized, unified leadership of the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core

The focus should be on key themes and distinctive characteristics, ensuring that the study, promotion, and interpretation of the Party's innovative theory remain the core of the Academy’s work. The Academy should continue to promote the inclusion of Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into textbooks, classrooms, and minds. The Academy should make full use of Jiangxi’s valuable red resources, allowing the Jinggangshan spirit to radiate with new light in the modern era, and ensure that the red gene is passed down from generation to generation. The story of Jiangxi must be well told, combining the local changes and developmental achievements, and carefully developing courses that enhance the teaching's emotional appeal and persuasiveness.

In addition, efforts should be made to deepen the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, consolidate and deepen the achievements of Party discipline education, and continuously improve the Academy's leadership team in setting direction, managing overall affairs, and ensuring implementation. The Academy should excel in attracting, cultivating, using, and retaining talent, building a highly qualified and professional faculty team with strong political conviction, firm beliefs, professional competence, and good conduct. Moreover, the Academy should continue its efforts to improve Party conduct, maintain discipline, and fight corruption, ensuring that the political ecology remains clear and upright at all times.
