On March 1, the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance) held its opening ceremony for the 2025 spring semester. Chen Xi, President of the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance) and President of CELAP, CELAJ, and CELAY, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. He emphasized the importance of using Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as a guide, deeply studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the necessity of upholding a clear political stance, fully understanding the decisive significance of the "two establishments," enhancing the "four consciousnesses," strengthening the "four confidences," and achieving the "two safeguards." He stressed the need to strengthen political character, improve political capabilities, and contribute to the comprehensive advancement of modernization with Chinese characteristics, and to the great cause of national strength and rejuvenation.

Chen Xi pointed out that political clarity is crucial for conscious action, and political steadfastness is necessary to withstand tests. In the new journey of advancing modernization with Chinese characteristics, leading cadres bear heavy responsibilities. They must be adept at observing and addressing issues from a political perspective, transforming the external requirement of upholding political clarity into an internal initiative. Leaders should focus on improving their political capabilities and consciously serve as model practitioners of loyalty and honesty to the Party, always maintaining a high level of consistency with the Party Central Committee, with Xi Jinping at its core, in political stance, direction, principles, and path. He emphasized the need to prioritize enhancing political capabilities, integrating them throughout the processes of ideological refinement, party character cultivation, political practice, and practical training, and making efforts to match political abilities with leadership responsibilities, thus fulfilling the political duties entrusted by the Party and the people.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Chen Yongqi, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and the Academy's First Vice President, members of the Academy's leadership team, responsible officials from relevant departments of Jiangxi Province, participants of relevant seminars of the Academy’s spring semester, and all faculty and staff, who participated in the ceremony via video at branch locations.
