On June 4th, the Academy Council convened its 11th meeting of 2024 to convey and study the guiding principles of the important speech by General Secretary Xi Jinping during the 14th group study session of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee. They also studied an important article titled "Development of New Productive Forces: An Intrinsic Requirement and Key Focus for Promoting High-Quality Development" published in the magazine "Seeking Truth". In addition, they studied a congratulatory letter sent on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. And they discussed and deliberated on opinions regarding the implementation and execution of these guiding principles.
