On March 11, CELAJ Council held its 4th meeting in 2024 to convey and learn the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and to study the work of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and deploying the construction of Party conduct. Vice President Ke Hua presided over, Vice President and First-level Inspector Wang Jianxin, Academy members Cheng Jisheng and Xiao Huaxiao attended, and heads of various departments attended.
The meeting held that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech profoundly summed up the new progress and new results of comprehensive and strict governance of the Party in the past year, systematically expounded the important ideas of the Party's self-revolution, scientifically answered the major questions such as why our Party needs self-revolution, why it can self-revolution, and how to promote self-revolution, made strategic arrangements for the continuous and in-depth promotion of the anti-corruption struggle, and fully demonstrated the high consciousness of our Party's self-purification, self-improvement, self-innovation, and self-improvement.
The meeting required that we should deeply study and comprehend General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thought on Party's self-revolution, closely integrate with the study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thought on Party building, accurately grasp the positions, viewpoints, methods, principles, theories and philosophies contained therein, and work hard to deepen the internalized transformation; we must further strengthen the Party's political discipline and political rules, and persevere in implementing the spirit of the eight central regulations and implementation rules, create a political atmosphere that dares not to be corrupt, cannot be corrupt, and does not want to be corrupt.
