The Academy Council conveys the guiding principles of Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions
The academy council held 1st meeting in 2024 on Jan. 8 to convey the guiding principles of Xi Jinping’s latest important speeches and instructions. The meeting was presided over by the Managing Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming. The Vice President of CELAJ and first-Class Counsel Kuang Sheng, the Vice President of CELAJ Ke Hua, the Vice President of CELAJ and first-Class Counsel Wang Jianxin, member of the academy council Cheng Jisheng, and member of the academy council Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting. The directors of the departments of CELAJ were present.
It was pointed out at the meeting that President Xi Jinping's 2024 New Year message looked back the extraordinary development of China in 2023, and looked forward to the prospects for the coming new year. It showed the resolution of advancing Chinese modernization, staying confident and building strength, and gave momentum for our continuous endeavor. It was urged at the meeting to integrate thought and action with Xi Jinping’s important instructions and the deployment of the Party Central Committee, take deep grasp of the significance of establishing Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, firmly uphold Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership, and commit ourselves in cadre training work with great effort and determination.
It was pointed out at the meeting that Xi Jinping’s important instruction on issues relating to agriculture, rural areas, and rural people, clarified the strategic requirement and main target of advancing all-around rural revitalization from the perspective of the cause of the Party and the country. It set basic guides to action of work relating to agriculture, rural areas, and rural people. The academy should strengthen political and historical responsibility in the paired assistance between the academy and Poyang county and the rural revitalization work, from the height of politics, and continuously improve the assistance work so as to make new achievement in advancing the rural revitalization.
It was pointed out at the meeting that the speech delivered by Xi Jinping in the meeting conducting criticism and self-criticism among the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, fully reviewed the theme, target, task, and achievement of the education campaign. It was urged at the meeting to enhance sense of politics, consolidate the education campaign achievement, getting into full swing of loyalty to the Party education, strengthen Party self-governance in every respect, continuously strengthen self-building of the academy council and provide solid foundation for the high-quality development of the academy.
It was stressed at the meeting that Xi Jinping’s important speech delivered at the symposium commemorating the 130th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Mao Zedong, systematically reviewed Comrade Mao Zedong’s indelible historic contributions to the Chinese nation and the Chinese people, which will go down in history. It was urged at the meeting to integrate thought and action with the guiding principles of Xi Jinping’s important speeches, completely, correctly and comprehensively grasp the essence of Mao Zedong Thought, and absorb theoretic and practical wisdom from it in pushing forwarding the adaption of the basic tenets of Marxism-Leninism to China’s specific realities, and the adaption of basic tenets of Marxism-Leninism to China’s fine traditional Chinese culture, and make research and publicize Xi Jinping’s cultural thought.
