CELAJ held a meeting to deploy the academy’s education campaign on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era on Apr. 27. The Managing Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming presided over the meeting. The head of the 9th provincial inspection panel Wang Hui attended and addressed the meeting. The deputy head of the inspection panel Chen Peng, the Vice President of CELAJ Kuang Sheng, and the member of the academy council Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting.

The education campaign was a major deployment in the 20th National Congress of CPC, and a big event for the whole party, Mei said. General Secretary of CPCCC Xi Jinping's speech on Party education campaign, stated profoundly the significance, target, requirement, and the deployment for the education campaign, providing the basic guidance for the whole party to conduct the education campaign. As a main platform for cadre training, CELAJ shall stick to the founding mission of the academy, and conduct the education campaign with higher standard. Mei stressed that we need to develop a deep understanding of the decisive significance of establishing Comrade Xi Jinping's core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, boost our consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership, stay confident in the path, the theory, the system, and the culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, firmly uphold Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership.

He called on all the participants to carry forward the spirit of seeking truth from facts in Xunwu survey, and make in-depth survey in various works of the academy, such as teaching and scientific research, administration and logistics, party organ and party building; advance teaching and training reform and innovation, and make the training more effective; abide by the strictest political standard, academic standard, teaching standard, managing standard, uphold high-standard operation of the academy; actively take on responsibility, integrate the education campaign with the central task of the academy, with the new round of planning of the academy, and see that the education campaign achieve sustainable and solid results. 

Wang Hui gave specific instructions on the education campaign work of the academy, and stressed to take solid action in implementing the measures and endeavor to make tangible achievement.
