On Mar. 30, the academy council held a meeting to convey and study the principles of Xi Jinping’s important speeches recently. The meeting was presided over by the Executive Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming, the Vice President of CELAJ Kuang Sheng, the Vice President of CELAJ Ke Hua, the Vice President of CELAJ and First Class Counsel Wang Jianxin, member of the academy council Cheng Jisheng, and member of the academy counicl Xiao Hua attended the meeting. The directors of the departments of the academy were present.

It was agreed at the meeting that Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches at the second plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the “two sessions”, rich of thoughts and connotation, set a path for taking in-depth study of the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of CPC and the deployment of Central Committee of CPC, pushing forward the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese modernization; the important speech addressed by Xi Jinping at the meeting marking the 90th anniversary of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and the opening ceremony of its 2023 spring semester, from the aspect of strategic and whole picture view, reviewed the 90-year glorious history of Party School of CPC Central Committee, and the historic achievement made in cadre training at different development stages of the party and the nation, focused on the founding mission of party school, namely fostering talent for and contributing wisdom to the Party, and expounded comprehensively on it, served as a guideline document for the development of Party schools in the new era; the important speech delivered at the 2nd plenary session of 20th the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, profoundly analyzed the formation of the problems within the big party, manifestation, and solution, profoundly expounded the mission of strengthening Party self-governance in every respect, practical requirement, and strategical deployment; the important speech delivered at the training session for the newly appointed members of Central Committee, alternate members of the Central Committee, and major officials at the provincial or ministerial level on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, expounded systematically on Chinese modernization, and made big development on the theory of Chinese modernization, having great guiding significance on pushing forward the journey of modernization.

The meeting called for conscientiously studying the principles of the speeches delivered by Xi jinping, taking Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the basic guidance, having a deeper grasp of the scientific connation and significance of Chinese modernization; consciously strengthening Party self-governance in every respect, remained committed to all work of the academy, including party conduct and building integrity, party building of the party organ, ideological education, learning conduct building, paired assistance between the academy and the Poyang county, theoretical central group studying, organ mass leagues; having a deep understanding of the responsibility of the academy work, think in big-picture terms, and shoulder the missions and tasks entrusted by the nation.
