The deputy secretary of CPC Committee of Jiangxi Province and first president of CELAJ Wu Zhongqiong convened the academy council to study the important speech addressed by Xi Jinping at the meeting marking the 90th anniversary of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and the opening ceremony of its 2023 spring semester, and the application measures on Mar. 1. The Executive Vice President of CELAJ Mei Liming, the Vice President of CELAJ Kuang Sheng, the Vice President of CELAJ Ke Hua, the Vice President of CELAJ and first Class Counsel Wang Jianxin, member of the academy council Cheng Jisheng, member of the academy council Xiao Huaxiao attended the meeting. The directors of other departments were present.

It was unanimously agreed that from the aspect of strategic and whole picture view, Xi Jinping reviewed the 90-year glorious history of Party School of CPC Central Committee, and the historic achievement made in cadre training at different development stages of the party and the nation. The remarks focused on the founding mission of party school, namely fostering talent for and contributing wisdom to the Party, and expounded comprehensively on it. It serves as a guideline document for the development of Party schools in the new era. Wu urged the participants to thoroughly study and implement the guiding principles of Xi's speech, and to make new advances in their work on the new journey.

Wu said Xi's speech fully and deeply expounded the founding mission of Party schools, put forward clear requirement and direction for propelling the high-quality development of Party School. Wu urged to integrate the guiding principles of Xi Jinping’s important remarks with the important instructions on Party School work, and to make new advances in their work on the new journey. Wu called on the academy to focus on the main task, and improve themselves to provide strong guarantee for all the work of the academy.

The important speech delivered by Xi Jinping is encouraging and inspiring, Mei Liming said. The academy is the main base for the education and training of leading cadres. The academy should firmly uphold high-quality development, tailored training and education, strengthen scientific research and teaching, transform the glorious tradition of the party and the great practice in the new era into big classroom, prompt the integration of educational education, party spirit education and capabilities cultivation, guide the participants to fully understanding the significance of establishing Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, strengthening our consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership, enhancing our confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and resolutely upholding Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and upholding the Central Committee’ authority and its centralized, unified leadership.

It was urged at the meeting to fully apply the new deployment and requirement put forward by Xi Jinping into the whole-process of the operation of the academy, and endeavor to propel high-quality development of the academy, and better serve for the party and the national rejuvenation.
