CELAJ Holds 2025 Annual Party Conduct and Clean Governance Work Meeting

On March 26, CELAJ held its 2025 Annual Party Conduct and Clean Governance Work Meeting to summarize the work done in 2024 and plan for the 2025 agenda. Zhang Peng, the vice president in charge of daily operations, delivered a work report. Xu Jingfeng, Deputy Head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission at the Central Organization Department, and Dai Wenbo, Deputy Director of the Fifth Division of the Bureau of Cadre Education at the Central Organization Department, attended and provided guidance.

Comrade Zhang Peng summarized the academy's Party conduct and clean governance work in 2024 and presented plans for 2025. He emphasized that in 2025, the academy should take the opportunity of deeply implementing the guiding principles of the central Party leadership’s eight-point decision on conduct and carry out education campaign on this, use the momentum of inspection and audit rectifications, and adhere to the reform spirit and strict standards to solidly promote the Party Conduct and clean governance work. The goal is to achieve significant results in the comprehensive strict governance of the Party and Party Conduct and clean governance at the academy's 20th anniversary of its founding and educational development, reaching new heights.

Comrade Xu Jingfeng stressed the need to raise the political stance and implement the "Two Maintains" (maintaining the authority of the Party Central Committee and maintaining the authority of General Secretary Xi Jinping) throughout the process of running and governing the academy. It is essential to accurately understand General Secretary Xi Jinping's requirements for the academy's educational work and persistently use Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to unite and guide all. He also emphasized adhering to strict standards, focusing on both corruption and improper conduct, resolutely correcting the "Four Winds" (formalism, bureaucratism, hedonism, and extravagance), purifying the source of "bad practices," regulating power operations, and working to deepen the integration of improving work conduct, strengthening discipline, and fighting corruption. The meeting also called for focusing on collective efforts and implementing the education on the spirit of the central Party leadership’s eight-point decision on conduct ensuring the completion of the central inspection rectifications, and pushing forward the implementation of comprehensive and strict governance of the academy in a detailed and systematic way.

The Party branch secretaries of the General Office, Training Department, Teaching and Research Department, and Logistics Management Center gave exchange speeches.
