At the invitation of Indian Institute of Public Administration and Laos academy of governance, a delegation of CELAJ led by the executive vice president of CELAJ Mei Liming visited India and Laos from Oct 23 to 30. Related personnel from the general office, training department, department of international exchange and training development, department of teaching and research, and Party Committee of the organ participated in the delegation. The ambassador of Chinese embassy in India Sun Weidong, and the ambassador of Chinese embassy in Laos Jiang Zaidong met with the delegation.

In India, the president of Indian Institute of Public Administration S.N.Tripathi met with the delegation, introduced the profile of the academy, and expressed the will of cooperation with CELAJ on International training program. Mei Liming introduced the cadre training at CELAJ and maintained the viewpoint of promoting the Belt and Road Initiative.

In the headquarter of the Communist Party of India(Marxist), the delegation held a meeting with member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of training affairs, B.V.Raghavulu. Both sides exchanged ideas on cooperation of cadre training. In the headquarter of the Communist Party of India, the delegation held a meeting with the General Secretary of the Party and head of training affairs B.Kango. Both sides exchanged ideas on cooperation of cadre training.

In the Consulate-General of the People’ Republic of China in Mumbai, the consul-general Tang Guoqiang met with the delegation. Mei Liming was invited to give a Party lecture on “Keep in mind our Party’s founding mission and Strive for breakthrough of diplomacy with our own characteristics as a major country” to the staff of the Consulate-General. Mei shared his ideas and thought of learning the guiding principles embodied in General Secretary Xi Jinping’s relevant important speeches, and introduced the exchange with foreign Parties and the training of diplomatic envoys at CELAJ.

At the University of Mumbai, the delegation held a meeting with the dean of the school of administration Khan.Liyaqat.Ayubde. Both sides exchanged ideas on cooperation in the field of Chinese politics and diplomacy.
In Laos, the deputy secretary of the Organization Department of Central Committee, Lao People's Revolutionary Party, deputy minister Vanhxay PHONGSAVANH met with the delegation. Vanhxay gave a welcome to the delegation and expressed thanks for the support given by CELAJ on cadre training. He spoke highly of the training quality and effect of CELAJ.

At Laos academy of governance, the delegation held a meeting with the vice president of the academy SAMOUTTHONG SOMPHANITH and directors of relevant departments. SAMOUTTHONG  introduced the history and development of the academy and the support on cadre training given by some provinces of China. Mei Liming introduced the training of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the experience of conducting training on Party Spirit.

At the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Luang Prabang, the consul-general Li Zhigong met with the delegation. The member of standing committee of Provincial Committee of Luang Prabang and vice governor Sashm PNSHVAN, who had visited and participated in the seminar at CELAJ, attended the meeting.

The delegation visited Souphanouvong University and Confucius Institute, and held talks with Chinese teachers and volunteers.

The visit expanded our horizon, and make us have a deeper understanding of the national condition and friendly Parties of India and Laos. And we learn more about the effect of seminars of CELAJ for foreign parties, the members of the delegation said. By comparison, we further felt the great strength of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, system, theory and culture; further felt the great practical power of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; strengthen confidence in "the path, theory, system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics; more confident and resolute in telling China’s stories and CPC’s stories well.
