Cadres and Staff of CELAJ in Close Emotional Ties with Yushu Earthquake-stricken Area |
On the afternoon of April 21st, China Executive Leadership Academy Jinggangshan held a mourning ceremony for victims in the earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai Province cum donation to the earthquake-stricken area. The Executive Vice President Li Xiaosan, Vice Presidents Zhang Taicheng, Zhang Younan attended the ceremony hosted by the academy’s Vice President and Secretary of Institutional Committee, Zhou Jintang.
The violent earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai Province on April 14th struck a chord for all the staff in CELAJ, who promptly took actions in accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council and gave full play to the spirit of “one in trouble, all to help”. CPC members and the leadership of the academy played a leading role in this endeavor and carried out an extensive mobilization in the entire staff of CELAJ to ensure the care form the Party and government delivered to the earthquake-stricken victims and to express the love of all the staff in CELAJ for those victims. At the mourning ceremony, the entire staff of CELAJ stood in silence for a whole minute mourning the victims in Yushu earthquake. Subsequently, the entire academy gave away generously their financial support that embodied sincere love and devotion, which fully reflected the good habit of relieving the poor and needy. The heads of the academy and ordinary cadres, the logistics staff and distinguished visiting professors, they all participated in the contribution actively, offering their love to people in the disaster-stricken area and some staff who were on a business trip commissioned their colleagues to donate on their behalf.
The donation site received a total of 100,000 RMB which would be promptly remitted to the Yushu earthquake-stricken area by the Civil Affairs Department of Jiangxi Province. |
