Jinggangshan, December 28 (By Ren Jianghua, People Daily) — The CELAJ intensive training on incorruptibility education for the leadership of the Shanxi major roads project was brought to a successful close today. Ever since the pilot training in the second half of the year 2004, the academy has held altogether 422 training courses of any kinds with 20186 trainees.

According to Li Xiaosan, executive vice president of CELAJ, the academy is expected to stick to the point and serve the public, to persist in the principle of “establishing the academy by distinct features, developing the academy by innovation, and strengthening the academy with the help of talents”, so that the advantage of abundant revolutionary tradition education resources in Jinggangshan and its surrounding can be transformed to the advantage of CELAJ education resources, which can be transformed to the qualities and the abilities of the trainees.

The academy has transformed the revolutionary cradle Jinggangshan to a profound classroom. Relying on and making good use of the abundant and unique teaching resources in Jinggangshan, the academy has centered on the party spirit, conduct and discipline education, kept on establishing its training features and strengthening its competitiveness. In the past 5 years, the academy has created a unique training model, regarding the learning and upholding of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the central training subject, the revolutionary tradition education, the basic national conditions education, and the building of the governance capability as the basic training subject. As for the methodology, there are keynote training, site visit, learning-through-experience training, audio-visual training, case study, social practice and student workshop. The unique features of the training model lie in the short-term training and keynote workshop.
