Zhang Younan Went to Cambridge University for Training |
From October 17th to November 1st, Zhang Younan, vice president of China’s Executive Leadership Academy Jinggangshan was in Cambridge University of Britain for a training of “new-type industrialization and ecological civilization construction seminar” sponsored by Organization Department of CCCPC in conjunction with the Environmental Protection Department.
The purpose of the seminar was to discuss about the challenges met by the global ecological environment against the background of new-type industrialization and ecological civilization construction. The seminar was also intended to make a systematic summary of the current state of low-carbon economy in the world’s developed countries, the impact of industrialization on the air, water and biosphere and lessons drawn from it. Another aim of the seminar is to investigate sustainable development, climate change and the developmental concepts and methods of the new-type green economy.
Zhang Younan said that this seminar featured clear target, high density, well-know teachers, strong interaction, careful organization, good effect, etc. and he reaped a good harvest after this training. |
