Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, accompanied by Meng Jianzhu, secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, Wu Xinxiong, deputy secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and governor of Jiangxi Province, Wang Xiankui, deputy secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and the first vice president of CELAJ, and Li Xiaosan, the executive vice president of CELAJ, made an inspection tour of CELAJ on Oct. 27th, 2007.
 
At the hall of trainees` Building, Li Changchun looked at the Distribution Map of CELAJ Teaching Resources, and said that it is a big decision made by the Party Central Committee to set up CELAJ in Jinggangshan where it is rich in education resources of revolutionary tradition. It is a decision made from an overall point of view of promoting the great cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and propelling the new great project of Party building, very significant. To conduct training in the place where our revolutionary forefathers fought will strengthen the training effect.
   
At the trainees` dormitory and cafeteria, Li Changchun asked in detail about the trainees` life and diet, showing his appreciation of the trainees` good living environment and the good sanitary conditions of the cafeteria.
   
At the teaching building, Li Changchun asked about the Philosophy and Social Sciences Teaching and Research Mainstay Seminar of the Subordinate Colleges and Universities of Relevant Ministries and Commissions of the Central Government. He pointed out that the academy must take Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of Three Representatives as its guidelines, comprehensively implement the Scientific Outlook on Development. The seminar should carry forward the glorious revolutionary tradition of Jinggangshan and make full use of its and neighboring rich and special revolutionary resources to enhance the education of our Party members, cadres and the scholars of philosophy and social sciences in Chinese revolutionary tradition and revolution history, through which the trainees could be able to grasp better the connotation and spirit of the Scientific Outlook on Development, and therefore, further enhance their consciousness and firmness in implementing the Scientific Outlook on  Development, and strengthen their ideals and convictions and improve their ideological and political quality in real sense.
  
During the inspection tour, Li also heard Li Xiaosan’s report on CELAJ and asked in detail about the training programs, and showed his approval of the school’s construction, management and operation. Finally he pointed out that we should review carefully our experience in school running, study and implement the spirit of the Seventeenth Party Congress, uphold the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, continue our large-scale leadership training, and perform to the full the roles of Party schools, administrative institutes and leadership academies to greatly improve the quality of our cadres.
